Tushar Pannu, a young golfer with less than a year of professional experience, impressed with a 6-under 67 round at the Par-73 Golf Club Lubumbashi during the debut of AM Green IGPL in Congo.
Pannu, aged 21, turned pro last year after qualifying school and showcased his talent with five birdies, an eagle, and just one bogey during his remarkable round. He shared the lead with Mannat Brar, a 19-year-old Women’s Golf Association pro, who also carded a 6-under 67 without any bogeys.
The IGPL Invitational Congo marks the fourth leg of the IGPL Tour 2026 and the third event in the African Swing, following tournaments in Chandigarh, Mauritius, and Joburg, South Africa. The competition is taking place at the eco-friendly Par-73 Golf Club de Lubumbashi in Congo.
Rookie pro Sukhman Singh, son of former top amateur Simarjeet Singh, displayed promising talent by shooting a 5-under 68, securing the third position. Aman Raj, a multiple AM Green IGPL winner in 2025, and Harendra Gupta shared the fourth spot with scores of 4-under 69.
