Another two civilians have reportedly been forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces in Balochistan, as claimed by a prominent human rights organization. This incident occurs amidst a surge in extrajudicial killings and enforced disappearances in the region.

According to the Baloch Voice for Justice (BVJ), Fazal Baloch, a central leader of the Baloch Student Front (BSF), was allegedly taken from his home in the Hub Chowki area of Balochistan by Pakistani security personnel. His current whereabouts are unknown, as per reports.

The BVJ has urged Pakistani authorities to reveal Fazal Baloch’s location, provide him access to his family and legal representation, or present him before a civilian court if his detention is lawful. The organization has highlighted a series of disappearances, including that of Shahab Baloch, a student studying in Azerbaijan who disappeared upon returning to Balochistan for his break.

Shalee Baloch, from the Baloch Women Forum (BWF), has expressed concern over the increasing disappearances of Baloch students and graduates. She emphasized that these actions violate fundamental human rights and are part of a broader crackdown on educated Baloch youth by Pakistani authorities.

Calling for global intervention, Shalee Baloch has appealed to the United Nations and international human rights bodies to demand the disclosure of the disappeared Baloch youths’ whereabouts, ensure their safe return, and hold Pakistan accountable under international human rights standards.
