Another two civilians in Balochistan fell victim to extrajudicial killings by Pakistani forces, as reported by the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC). The body of Nasram Baloch, who had been missing for one and a half years, was discovered in Makseen Nadi with signs of severe abuse. Nasram, a resident of Buleda, endured torture and inhumane treatment during his enforced disappearance, leading to lasting physical harm.
BYC highlighted the case of Awais Baloch, a student from Panjgur, whose mutilated body was found at Civil Hospital a day after his forced disappearance. The organization condemned these incidents as part of a disturbing trend of enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings in Balochistan. The BYC urged international bodies like the United Nations and Amnesty International to investigate these human rights violations promptly.
The BYC emphasized that such actions reveal a system of fear rather than justice, where individuals are silenced instead of being heard. Despite the oppression, the organization stressed that the Baloch people’s identity and quest for dignity remain strong. The voices of Baloch mothers, students, and families, demanding justice for their loved ones, must not be silenced.
