Two school children tragically lost their lives in Bajaur district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan, when a quadcopter drone hit a hilly area. The incident took place in the Sahi Thangi area, about 25 kilometers from Khar, as the children were returning home from school.

Local sources reported that the drone strike left the 10 and 12-year-old boys critically injured. Despite being rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital in Khar, they were declared dead upon arrival. Authorities are investigating the attack to determine its origins and motives.

The drone attack, which remains shrouded in mystery regarding its launch point and responsible party, has sparked condemnation from local leaders. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Hamidur Rehman and Bajaur Aman Jirga chief Sahibzada Haroon Rashid have strongly denounced the incident and called for a thorough investigation.
