The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Foreign Affairs has rejected Iran’s attempts to justify terrorist attacks targeting the UAE. The Ministry labeled Iran’s actions as a violation of international law and good neighborliness. Minister of State Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar emphasized the UAE’s firm rejection of any threats to its sovereignty and its right to respond militarily to any hostile acts.

Iran has been accused of continuing terrorist attacks against the UAE and other regional countries despite international condemnations. The UAE Minister stated that Iran is fully responsible for these attacks and their consequences. Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs, Kazem Gharibabadi, accused the UAE of supporting military aggression against Iran and lacking legitimacy to make political accusations.

During the BRICS Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, Gharibabadi claimed to have documented every warplane taking off from the UAE. He mentioned submitting 120 diplomatic notices to the UN Security Council with evidence. The UAE reiterated its capability to deter aggression and emphasized not seeking protection from others.
