The United Arab Emirates (UAE) President, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has accepted an invitation from the United States to join the Board of Peace. This decision was announced by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. The UAE’s move is in support of President Donald J. Trump’s 20-point peace plan for Gaza, emphasizing the rights of the Palestinian people.
On Saturday, the UAE welcomed the launch of the second phase of the Peace Plan and the formation of the National Committee for the administration of Gaza. Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, expressed support for the comprehensive peace plan and the establishment of the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza.
The UAE also praised the creation of the ‘Board of Peace’ by US President Donald Trump as a significant framework to enhance stability and advance the political process. The country highlighted the importance of international cooperation and effective governance in Gaza to ensure the rights of the Palestinian people and promote stability in the region.
US President Donald Trump recently introduced the Board of Peace for Gaza’s second phase, focusing on demilitarization and reconstruction. Several world leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India, have been invited to join this board.
