Monalisa Bhosle’s uncle, Vijay Bhosle, has alleged that she has been ensnared by her in-laws in Kerala. He expressed disapproval of inter-faith marriage in their family and criticized the actions taken by Monalisa. Vijay mentioned that the in-laws from Kerala misled Monalisa by promising to enhance her acting skills and create content with her.

He revealed that Monalisa was lured by the prospect of learning acting and exploring opportunities. Feeling deceived, her family intervened when they found out about the situation. The uncle recounted how Monalisa was taken around for a few days to various locations by her in-laws before the family intervened and confronted the situation.

The police reportedly informed Monalisa’s family that she did not wish to return with them. Despite the family’s efforts to bring her back, the police stated that as an 18-year-old, Monalisa had chosen to stay. Monalisa Bhosle and Farman Khan’s marriage, which gained attention for being an inter-faith union, took place at the Arumanoor Sri Nainaar Deva Temple in Kerala. The couple, known for their viral presence during the 2025 Maha Kumbh Mela, had been in a relationship for six months prior to their marriage.
