Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan recently paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav at his official residence in Bhopal. The two leaders warmly greeted each other and engaged in discussions on various topics related to mutual interests and Madhya Pradesh politics.
During the meeting, Chief Minister Yadav expressed his pleasure at meeting the Union Minister, referring to Chouhan as his respected elder brother. Chouhan, on the other hand, mentioned that the discussions during the visit covered a wide range of issues. Both leaders shared a fruitful exchange of ideas during the interaction.
The meeting between Chouhan, a former four-time Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, and his successor Mohan Yadav has generated interest and speculation within the state’s political circles. Chouhan, known for his long tenure and popular schemes like the ‘Ladli Laxmi Yojana’, was succeeded by Yadav after the BJP’s victory in the 2023 Assembly elections.
