Commenting on the misappropriation of donations at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Union Minister of State for Jal Shakti and Railways, V. Somanna, emphasized that those who misused temple funds will face consequences as per Lord Ram’s will. He highlighted the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) by the Uttar Pradesh government to address the issue.

Meanwhile, Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge called for accountability from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath regarding the allegations of donation misuse for the Ram Mandir construction. Kharge stressed the importance of transparency in utilizing public contributions for the temple project and demanded a thorough investigation to reveal the truth to the public.

Kharge further urged the Central government to respond transparently and responsibly to the allegations. He emphasized the need for a clarification from the Prime Minister and the UP government to maintain public trust and ensure an impartial probe into the matter. Kharge also highlighted the significance of upholding accountability and transparency in handling public donations.
