Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw emphasized the significant opportunity for India’s tech-savvy youth to address global challenges at the five-day AI Impact Summit. He praised the event as the largest gathering of AI technology leaders, foreseeing over $200 billion in investments for India in the next two years. Vaishnaw credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for democratizing technology and stressed the summit’s focus on finding solutions for India’s diverse challenges.

The Minister highlighted the participation of global leaders and tech experts at the summit, aiming to collaborate on tech-based solutions for global issues. He encouraged Indian youth to contribute innovative solutions in AI and deep-tech, shaping the digital world ethically. Vaishnaw commended the energy and enthusiasm of India’s youth, urging them to leverage AI’s potential while upholding ethical standards.

Addressing the need for robust regulations, Vaishnaw emphasized the importance of preventing technology misuse for societal benefit. He acknowledged the growing threat of deepfakes and mentioned ongoing dialogues with the industry to address this issue. Prime Minister Modi also lauded the summit as a platform for exchanging ideas and fostering partnerships.

The AI Impact Expo witnessed the participation of heads of state and ministerial delegations from various countries, highlighting the event’s potential for enhancing India’s technological and governance landscape through partnerships with global leaders and tech giants.
