Union Minister for Food, Public Distribution, and Consumer Affairs, Pralhad Joshi, criticized the Karnataka Congress government for its administrative failures. He highlighted an incident where the Assembly Speaker walked out in frustration, exposing what he called the government’s incompetence.
The Speaker, U.T. Khader, expressed dissatisfaction, emphasizing the government’s repeated failure to provide timely replies. He questioned the Assembly’s functionality if questions remained unanswered, leading to the House’s adjournment.
Joshi pointed out that the Speaker’s walkout, triggered by ministers’ inadequate responses and absences during question time, symbolized the government’s decline. He criticized the state ministers for their inability to address queries even during the budget session, questioning their commitment to governance.
