Union Minister Giriraj Singh criticized the ruling party in West Bengal, accusing them of extremism and targeting Hindus. He highlighted the shift towards the BJP in the state due to these reasons. BJP spokesperson Pratul Shah Deo welcomed the political change in West Bengal, emphasizing hope, development, and governance for the people.
Minister Ram Kripal Yadav congratulated Suvendu Adhikari ahead of his swearing-in as Chief Minister, praising the historic political transformation under his leadership. He expressed confidence in Adhikari’s ability to drive Bengal’s progress effectively after years of stagnation.
Suvendu Adhikari is poised to become West Bengal’s first BJP Chief Minister, following significant electoral victories against Mamata Banerjee. His triumph in Nandigram and Bhabanipur reshaped the state’s political dynamics, establishing him as a prominent figure in West Bengal politics.
