Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw highlighted the worldwide acceptance of yoga, calling it a treasured heritage of India. Participating in International Day of Yoga celebrations, Vaishnaw, accompanied by Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, led a mass yoga session in Rajasthan. He stressed the significance of yoga in promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being, attributing its global recognition to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.

Vaishnaw underscored that yoga not only enhances physical health but also fosters mental peace, positive thinking, and a stress-free lifestyle. Encouraging the integration of yoga into daily routines for healthier living, he emphasized its role in maintaining robust health and mental strength. Meghwal, speaking at the event, described yoga as a fundamental aspect of Indian culture and life philosophy, essential for societal strength and national development.

Highlighting the values of discipline, self-control, and balance taught by yoga, Meghwal advocated for its incorporation into daily life by all citizens. The event at Karni Singh Stadium in Bikaner witnessed the participation of numerous school students, youth, women, and representatives from social organizations and government departments. Participants engaged in various yoga asanas, pranayama, and meditation exercises guided by trained instructors.
