Union Minister Emphasizes Northeast Development Under PM Modi’s Leadership

Union Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Distribution, Nimuben Jayantibhai Bambhaniya, highlighted the focus on holistic development in the Northeast under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. During her visit to Nagaland, she stressed the importance of collective effort and coordination for progress. Bambhaniya urged departments to work together with commitment to achieve well-defined targets for the state’s development.

The Minister inspected various facilities and initiatives in Nagaland, interacting with officials and emphasizing the need for effective implementation of government schemes at the grassroots level. She praised Nagaland’s potential for tourism-driven economic growth, citing the opportunities presented by the state’s natural beauty and cultural heritage. Bambhaniya also commended Khonoma village for its community spirit and environmental consciousness, setting a positive example for the nation.

Encouraging the promotion of local products and initiatives like “Local for Local” and “Make in India,” the Minister highlighted the importance of empowering women, farmers, and youth. She called for the support of skilled individuals to boost self-reliance and economic contributions. Bambhaniya stressed the significance of setting clear goals and addressing challenges collectively to ensure tangible outcomes and progress for Nagaland.
