Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia wrapped up a three-day visit to Shivpuri, focusing on public grievance redressal, youth engagement, and infrastructure development. Projects worth about Rs 200 crore were initiated to boost the district’s progress. During a public hearing in the Kota area, Scindia addressed 782 applications, swiftly resolving many cases and instructing officials to expedite pending matters.
Every application is now registered through a token-based system linked to an online tracking mechanism for transparency and timely resolutions. The minister prioritized issues concerning Ayushman Cards, Below Poverty Line Cards, certificates, and welfare schemes. Public hearings held in Lukwasa, Bhonti, and Kota saw over 3,000 citizens presenting grievances directly to Scindia and district officials.
Scindia also interacted with outstanding students at the tourist village, honoring achievers from Class 10, Class 12, and competitive exams. He motivated them to aim high, emphasizing their role in family responsibilities and nation-building. Notably, he highlighted that nearly 70% of the academic toppers were girls, showcasing women’s empowerment.
At the University Institute of Technology in Shivpuri, Scindia engaged with students, discussing campus facilities and proposing the establishment of a robust student council and alumni network for institutional enhancement. He emphasized incorporating student feedback to elevate the institute into a premier college, with upcoming industrial projects offering opportunities for engineering students.
Scindia reiterated his comprehensive vision, aiming beyond grievance resolution to ensure holistic development by creating youth opportunities and enhancing infrastructure. He announced development projects totaling around Rs 200 crore, spanning roads, schools, panchayats, and tehsil buildings.
