Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel, H.D. Kumaraswamy, reassured that there are no disagreements between the BJP and JD(S) for the Bengaluru civic polls. He emphasized unity during a meeting attended by the party’s National President, H.D. Deve Gowda, regarding the Greater Bengaluru elections. Kumaraswamy urged party members to avoid actions that could jeopardize the alliance’s success in the upcoming polls.
In light of the Maharashtra local body elections, Kumaraswamy commended the NDA alliance’s performance and expressed optimism for a similar outcome in Bengaluru. He called for collaborative efforts between BJP and JD(S) workers and leaders to achieve success. Kumaraswamy criticized the ruling Congress party’s governance in the state, highlighting issues such as deteriorating infrastructure and financial burdens on citizens.
Addressing the gathering, H.D. Deve Gowda stressed the importance of strengthening the party at the grassroots level. He urged leaders and workers to showcase the party’s contributions to Bengaluru’s development, including projects like the Cauvery water supply, Sirsi Circle flyover, and support for the IT sector. Party leaders were instructed to educate the public about these accomplishments.
Youth Janata Dal State President Nikhil Kumaraswamy, Core Committee Chairman M. Krishnareddy, Legislature Party Leader Suresh Babu, MP Mallesh Babu, and leaders from Bengaluru city constituencies and former MLAs were also present at the event.
