Joshi highlighted Yediyurappa’s pivotal role in the BJP’s growth in Karnataka under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He expressed confidence in Yediyurappa’s continued guidance for the party and the state. Karnataka BJP President B. Y. Vijayendra credited Yediyurappa for his four terms as Chief Minister and for nurturing leadership that led to multiple Chief Ministers in the state.

Former Deputy Chief Minister Govind Karjol announced plans for a grand felicitation event in May to honor Yediyurappa’s extensive contributions to Karnataka’s development. Karjol highlighted Yediyurappa’s initiatives for farmers, education, and welfare schemes like the Bhagyalakshmi bond scheme. He extended wishes for Yediyurappa’s health and continued societal guidance for years to come.
