Union Minister Urges Opposition to Meet Speaker for NEET Paper Leak Discussion

Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju called on all parties, especially the Opposition, to convene with Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla to finalize arrangements for discussing the NEET paper leak in Parliament without delay. Rijiju emphasized the government’s readiness to address the issue and related concerns, highlighting the importance of a structured and constructive debate under parliamentary rules.

He stressed the significance of determining the appropriate rule for the discussion within the parliamentary framework, emphasizing the need for a meaningful and orderly exchange of views. Rijiju underlined the government’s commitment to transparency and accountability by ensuring a comprehensive discussion on the NEET paper leak and subsequent actions taken.

Rijiju also expressed the government’s intention to address the post-leak developments and provide clarity on the actions taken against those involved in the NEET paper leak. Emphasizing the need for a unified decision among all parties, he urged for a consensus on the timing, rules, and duration of the discussion to effectively communicate with the public.

The Union Minister reiterated the necessity of a substantive discussion in Parliament to outline measures for the welfare of the country’s youth. He appealed to the Opposition to collaborate in deciding the discussion timeline, highlighting the government’s willingness to engage in a constructive dialogue for the benefit of the nation.
