In eastern Rajasthan, districts witnessed rain, gusty winds, and hailstorms, while the western region faced scorching temperatures exceeding 45 degrees Celsius. The weather varied significantly across different parts of the state, with some areas experiencing sudden changes like cloudy skies, rainfall, and hailstorms.
Areas like Jaipur, Bharatpur, Alwar, Tonk, and Kotputli-Behror saw unexpected weather shifts, including rain and hailstones. Meanwhile, Sawai Madhopur and Dausa also experienced rainfall and strong winds, providing some relief from the heatwave conditions in certain areas.
Despite rising temperatures in western Rajasthan, some regions saw temperatures below 40 degrees Celsius, offering slight respite. The Meteorological Department predicts continued thunderstorms, gusty winds, and light rain in eastern Rajasthan, while western parts are warned of an intensifying heatwave in the coming days.
