Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath participated in the passing out parade for the first batch of 60,244 Constable Civil Police Direct Recruitment Year-2025 in Lucknow. He awarded constables excelling in various categories during the ceremony. Adityanath praised the dedication and discipline of women recruits, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and national service in a uniformed force.
He congratulated the women constables for completing rigorous training with dedication and discipline. Adityanath expressed confidence in their ability to uphold the proud traditions of the UP Police with sincerity and a strong sense of duty. He stressed the need for strict laws against criminals while maintaining sensitivity towards citizens.
The passing-out parades were held at multiple locations across the state simultaneously. Union Home Minister Amit Shah had distributed appointment letters to the candidates on June 15, 2025, in Lucknow, with training commencing on July 21. Adityanath highlighted the improvements made in police facilities and training under his government, emphasizing the modernization of equipment and training methods.
The CM mentioned the recruitment and promotion of over 2.18 lakh police personnel, along with the training of UP ATS personnel to international standards. He noted the establishment of cyber police stations in all districts and the Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Sciences in Lucknow. Adityanath praised the transformation of the UP Police into a model force, ensuring public safety, ending parallel power structures, and reducing criminal activities.
