The release date of the upcoming animated film ‘Mahaprabhu Jagannath’ has been rescheduled. It is now set to hit theaters on July 17, 2026, a day after the annual Jagannath Rath Yatra on July 16.
‘Mahaprabhu Jagannath’ aims to be a family-friendly movie that combines top-notch animation with rich cultural insights. Drawing inspiration from the historical Rath Yatra, the film is poised to captivate audiences with its unique storytelling.
Directed by Shripad Warkhedkar, ‘Mahaprabhu Jagannath’ promises to bring the narrative to life on the big screen. The screenplay and dialogues, crafted by Pallavi Sharma, ensure a touching storyline that appeals to both kids and adults, complemented by a soulful musical score by Aviral Kumar.
Produced by Durga Prasad Dalai under Ele Animations Pvt. Ltd., the film is gearing up for a wide theatrical release in collaboration with Cinepolis, targeting over 300 screens across Hindi, Odia, and Telugu languages. Additionally, it is set to premiere in select international markets on July 17.
