The much-anticipated sports drama series “Mammatiyaan Stars,” directed by Savir Sudhakar, is set to premiere on June 26 this year on the OTT platform Zee 5. Produced by Singaravelan under the SS Group banner, the six-episode Tamil original pays homage to cricket enthusiasts and their unwavering passion for the game.
Featuring a talented cast including Vaibhav Murugesan, Lavanya Anbazhagan, Venkeda Balamurali, Jagabar Sathik, ‘Naan Kadavul’ Rajendran, and Vivek Prasanna, the series, written by Savir Sudhakar, Naveen Rajkumar, Kalai Selvan, and Vinu Karthikeyan, promises to capture the essence of cricket culture in Tamil Nadu. With PM Rajkumar handling cinematography, Pavithran on editing, and Tamilselvan overseeing art direction, “Mammatiyaan Stars” is expected to evoke the thrill and camaraderie synonymous with cricket fandom.
