Manuela Vilar, Agustina Diaz, and Teresa Viana scored for Uruguay, while Anja Atkin and Rachel Goodwin found the net for Wales.

In another match, England secured their second consecutive victory by beating Korea 3-0 in the Pool A game, earning a spot in the semifinals. Lily Walker, Elizabeth Neal, and Grace Balsdon were the goal scorers for England in this match.

England continued their winning streak by defeating Italy 5-2, with goals from Grace Balsdon, Lottie Bingham, Elizabeth Neal, and Anna Toman. Korea also emerged victorious with a 1-0 win over Austria, courtesy of a goal by Seona Kim.

India began their campaign in the FIH Hockey World Cup Qualifiers 2026 with a commanding 4-0 victory over Uruguay. Sunelita Toppo, Ishika, Lalremsiami, and Rutuja Dadaso Pisal were the goal scorers for the Indian team.
