The 79th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, set to conclude on May 23, began with the French period-comedy film “The Electric Kiss.” French actress Eye Haidara will host the opening and closing ceremonies. Notably, Alia Bhatt has already graced the red carpet, with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Huma Qureshi, and Tara Sutaria also scheduled to attend the 11-day event.
Urvashi Rautela is preparing for the second season of “Inspector Avinash,” starring Randeep Hooda. The show, which premiered in 2023, is based on true events and the life of UP super-cop Avinash Mishra. It focuses on Mishra’s efforts to combat crime in the state.
