US forces have carried out additional strikes against Iran, as per the US Central Command (CENTCOM). With over 50,000 US troops in the Middle East, CENTCOM stated that they remain on high alert. During the recent strikes, US forces targeted Iranian military facilities, including coastal surveillance, air defense, maritime capabilities, and storage sites for missiles and drones.
The US military also focused on the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), which had launched attacks on US service members in Jordan. Additionally, the Darkhovin nuclear power plant construction site in Iran’s Khuzestan province was hit by US projectiles, condemned by the Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran as a breach of international law. US forces had previously targeted Iran’s coastal surveillance and air defense facilities.
CENTCOM reiterated its successful strikes on Iranian military assets, including coastal surveillance, air defense facilities, maritime capabilities, and storage sites for missiles and drones. The US military also addressed the IRGC’s actions in Jordan.
