A construction site of Iran’s Darkhovin nuclear power plant in Khuzestan province was attacked by US projectiles, as confirmed by the Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran (AEOI). The attack, labeled as “aggressive and brutal,” occurred early Sunday morning, breaching Iran’s sovereignty and international law. The AEOI did not disclose any casualties or damage resulting from the incident.

In a separate event, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy intercepted two vessels attempting to cross the Strait of Hormuz through an unsafe route. Despite warnings, the vessels, allegedly supported by the US, attempted to disrupt the strait’s passage. While two vessels were stopped due to an “accident,” the other two were deterred from continuing their course.

The IRGC Navy emphasized its control over the strait, stating that any transit must adhere to Iran’s designated secure route. It asserted that no oil, gas, or chemical fertilizers can pass through the strait without Iran’s coordination and permission. Meanwhile, the US Central Command reported conducting strikes against Iranian military facilities, with a significant US troop presence in the Middle East.

Additionally, the Iranian Army retaliated by targeting US bases in Kuwait in response to perceived aggressions against Iran and its infrastructure. The army disclosed drone attacks on the Al-Adiri Camp and the Ali Al Salem Air Base. These actions reflect escalating tensions between the two nations.
