Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath marked the Holi festival by participating in the Bhakt Prahlad procession and aarti event in Gorakhpur. Alongside Gorakhpur BJP MP Ravi Kishan and others, Adityanath engaged in the traditional “Phoolon ki Holi,” spreading flowers and sharing Holi wishes with the locals. The festive occasion blended religious customs with community involvement, fostering a joyful and united atmosphere.

Admiring the Holika Dahan committee’s efforts in preserving cultural traditions for a century, Chief Minister Adityanath commended their dedication. He highlighted the committee’s role in upholding the festival’s heritage and noted the government’s support for the Holi event, contrasting it with the self-sustained celebration of Diwali in households. Adityanath stressed the importance of inclusive growth and opportunities for all, humorously mentioning BJP MP Ravi Kishan’s versatility in earning a living.

The event featured traditional rituals like aarti and a procession in Pandeyhata, drawing a large crowd of devotees who enjoyed the festivities with government backing. Participants expressed delight in partaking in the celebrations while embracing the spiritual essence of Holika Dahan. The gathering underscored the significance of preserving local customs, fostering unity, and promoting active citizen engagement.

Chief Minister Adityanath’s involvement in the event highlighted the link between political leadership and community traditions, enhancing the cultural richness and inclusivity of the celebration.
