Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently assessed the repercussions of untimely rainfall in various districts of the state. He inquired about the well-being of farmers affected by the adverse weather conditions. Adityanath instructed District Magistrates to provide detailed reports highlighting the challenges faced by farmers due to the unexpected rain.
Stressing the importance of vigilance, the Chief Minister urged officials to stay vigilant and ensure that affected farmers do not encounter difficulties. He reiterated that the government prioritizes the welfare of farmers. Adityanath also directed officials to promptly evaluate crop damage, compile comprehensive data, and expedite the distribution of relief to affected farmers.
Furthermore, Adityanath instructed the Revenue Department, Agriculture Department, and insurance companies to conduct an immediate survey of losses. He emphasized the need for a swift submission of findings to facilitate timely compensation processing. The Chief Minister affirmed the government’s unwavering support for the people during crises and calamities.
