Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister, Keshav Prasad Maurya, has pledged to take severe measures in response to the Ghaziabad youth murder incident. He emphasized the state government’s dedication to ensuring justice and upholding law and order. Maurya affirmed that the perpetrator, regardless of identity, will be apprehended and subjected to rigorous legal consequences, potentially including capital punishment as warranted by the law. The government’s firm stance on maintaining law and order is evident, with a commitment to imposing the most stringent legal actions on individuals involved in such criminal activities.
Reacting to the tragic stabbing of a 17-year-old boy in Ghaziabad’s Khoda Colony, Maurya expressed determination to pursue legal action against any individuals implicated in the case. He assured that appropriate legal steps would be taken against those responsible for the incident. Meanwhile, BJP leader Danish Azad Ansari confirmed that an investigation into the matter is ongoing. He emphasized the state’s adherence to law and order principles and assured that strict measures would be implemented against anyone found guilty in the case.
In response to the incident, BJP leader Reena Bhati remarked on the unprecedented nature of the behavior in Khoda Municipal Council. She urged support from the Muslim community, emphasizing the need for solidarity in addressing the situation. The statements follow the tragic death of Surya Chauhan, a 17-year-old student who was fatally stabbed by a friend after a dispute in Ghaziabad’s Khoda Colony. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, resulted in Surya’s demise the following day due to his injuries.
Surya, a Class XI student at a private school in Khoda Colony, left his family in mourning. His mother and sister have demanded strict repercussions for the accused individuals involved in the crime. Following a complaint lodged by Surya’s elder brother, Yash, an FIR was filed at the Khoda police station. Three out of the four individuals named in the FIR, identified as Farhan, Asif, and Nawab, have been apprehended by Ghaziabad Police. Farhan, the father of the primary suspect, Asad, remains at large, prompting ongoing police efforts to locate and detain him. Authorities have assured that all perpetrators will be brought to justice.
