Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister, Brajesh Pathak, commended the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) expansion across India under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. Pathak highlighted the BJP’s success from West Bengal to southern states, symbolized by the blooming lotus. He acknowledged the cultural richness of West Bengal and its global influence through luminaries like Swami Vivekananda, Subhas Chandra Bose, Rabindranath Tagore, and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.
Pathak emphasized the transformation in West Bengal’s demographics and borders, expressing pride in India’s cultural propagation worldwide. He credited PM Modi’s guidance for the BJP’s growth, congratulating states where elections were held. Pathak criticized the Opposition for resorting to appeasement politics and highlighted the increasing awareness among youth, women, poor, and farmers under PM Modi’s leadership.
The BJP’s remarkable performance in West Bengal signifies a significant political shift in a state traditionally dominated by the Opposition. This victory is a crucial milestone for the BJP in eastern India, breaking the stronghold of the All India Trinamool Congress, led by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, a vocal critic of PM Modi.
