After the main accused in the fatal stabbing case of a teenager in Ghaziabad was killed in a police operation, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak emphasized the government’s zero-tolerance stance towards criminal activities. Pathak assured that all individuals involved in the murder and related crimes would face severe consequences, reiterating the state’s commitment to upholding law and order.
Deputy Chief Minister Pathak highlighted Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s directive for stringent measures in districts where such criminal incidents occur. He emphasized that the police have been instructed to take decisive action against perpetrators to ensure public safety and security.
Former Khoda Municipal Council Chairperson Reena Bhati commended the police action, stating that the encounter of the accused, identified as Asad, who fatally attacked the teenager, sets a precedent for those with extremist ideologies. Bhati also mentioned that the state government has pledged support to the victim’s family by offering a job and accommodation.
The police reported that Asad, who had a reward on his head, was shot dead during an encounter in Ghaziabad. The incident, which occurred on the day of Bakrid, involved Asad and his associates attacking the teenager, leading to his tragic demise despite medical efforts to save him.
The brutal attack sparked outrage among locals, prompting protests and demands for swift justice. Surya’s mother expressed satisfaction with the police action, stating that the encounter fulfilled their quest for justice for her son’s death.
