Uttarakhand Government Issues Transfer Orders for Senior IAS and IFS Officers

The Uttarakhand government has issued a significant transfer and posting order affecting senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers. The order, effective immediately, aims to reorganize key administrative positions in various departments.

Multiple officers have been relieved from their current roles and reassigned new responsibilities. Lalrinliana Fanai, a 1997-batch IAS officer, has been relieved of the Excise Department charge while retaining other duties.

Nitesh Kumar Jha, a 2002-batch IAS officer, has been shifted from Information Technology, Suraj, and Science and Technology to the Panchayati Raj Department as secretary. Ravinaath Raman, a 2004-batch IAS officer, now heads the Transport Department and Commissioner Transport after being relieved from School Education.

Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey, a 2005-batch IAS officer, has been appointed Secretary of Information Technology, Suraj, and Science and Technology Department. Brijesh Kumar Sant, a 2006-batch IAS officer, has taken over the Excise Department following his relief from transport-related duties. Dr. Surendra Narayan Pandey, a 2007-batch IAS officer, is now the Secretary of Sugarcane Development and Sugar Department.

Jyoti Yadav, a 2009-batch IAS officer, previously awaiting posting, has been named Secretary of School Education (Primary and Secondary). Yugal Kishore Pant, another 2009-batch IAS officer, has been transferred to the Secretariat Administration Department. Ranveer Singh Chauhan, also from the 2009 batch, has been assigned the Finance Department after being relieved from the Secretary, Sugarcane Development, Sugar Department responsibilities.

In the Indian Forest Service, Dr. Parag Madhukar Dhakate has been relieved of certain duties in the Panchayati Raj Department. Abhishek Ruhela, a 2015-batch IAS officer, has been designated as Additional Secretary in the State Property Department and State Property Officer.

The order mandates all officers concerned to promptly assume their new roles and submit compliance reports.
