Vani Kapoor, the 2025 Order of Merit winner, joined Tvesa Malik in the lead after two rounds of the Women’s Pro Golf Tour 2026 at the Poona Club Golf Course in Pune. Ridhima Dilawari, the initial co-leader with Tvesa, slipped to tied third position with a 1-over 72 score. Former Order of Merit-winner Sneha Singh had an impressive round, carding a bogey-free 67 to tie for third place with Ridhima.
Vani had a mixed front nine with birdie-bogey efforts before finishing the front nine at 1-under 34 with a birdie on the ninth hole. Tvesa, aiming for consecutive wins after her victory last week, birdied the first hole but faced a double-bogey on the eighth, ending the front nine at 1-over. She finished at even par with three birdies and two bogeys on the back nine.
In the competition, Neha Tripathi, amateur Lavanya Gupta, and Anuradha Chaudhuri shared the fifth spot at 3-over 145. The cut-off for the final round was at 156, with 32 players advancing. Vani, Tvesa, and Sneha will lead the final day’s play, with Ridhima trailing by one stroke and playing in the second last group with Neha Tripathi and amateur Lavanya Gupta.
The fourth leg of the Women’s Pro Golf Tour (WPGT) started with 49 participants and a prize purse of Rs. 17 lakh.
