Veteran actor Satyajeet Puri recently shared an intriguing Bollywood fact about the 1992 hit film ‘Shola Aur Shabnam.’ In a social media video, Puri highlighted how the movie played a pivotal role in rejuvenating the careers of actor Govinda and director David Dhawan. The film’s success came after a series of box-office failures for both Govinda and Dhawan, ultimately restoring their positions in the industry.
Puri also paid tribute to the late producer Prahlad Nihalani, praising him as a bold and creative filmmaker who stood by his beliefs. He mentioned that before ‘Shola Aur Shabnam,’ both Govinda and David Dhawan were facing professional challenges. Prahlad Nihalani’s contributions to the industry were acknowledged by Puri, citing successful films like ‘Ilzaam,’ ‘Shola Aur Shabnam,’ and ‘Aankhen.’
