Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, known for the Salim-Javed duo, has experienced a minimal brain hemorrhage, as confirmed by his attending doctor, Jaleel Parkar. This condition does not necessitate surgery, and decisions regarding his discharge will be made once his health improves. Salim Khan underwent a Digital Subtraction Angiography and is currently receiving care in the ICU while being assisted by a ventilator.
Salim Khan was admitted to the hospital by his family doctor Chopra due to high blood pressure, which led to the precautionary measure of placing him on a ventilator. Despite his slow recovery attributed to his age, he is showing signs of improvement. Doctor Jalil Parkar had previously provided an update on Salim Khan’s health, revealing that a team of doctors, including specialists in neurology, cardiology, and neurosurgery, are overseeing his treatment.
The hospitalization of Salim Khan has drawn the presence of his elder son, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, along with his daughters Alvira Khan Agnihotri and Arpita Khan, and actor Aayush Sharma at his side. Salman Khan, who halted his shooting schedule to be with his father, was among those seen visiting Salim Khan at the hospital, where reports indicate he has been experiencing swelling.
