The Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC) will take place at Marwadi University in Rajkot on January 11 and 12. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the event, which will focus on the Kutch and Saurashtra region. The conference will witness the participation of numerous leading industrialists from around the country.

Preparations for the Vibrant Gujarat Summit are in full swing at the Marwari University campus. The Gujarat government is hosting the VGRC, with six domes constructed for exhibitions in 35 sectors covering an area of 22,000 square meters. A special dome has been set up for events to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi.

Nearly 4,000 industrialists from Gujarat and other parts of the country are expected to attend the conference. Various domes have been erected with stalls displaying a wide range of products. The event anticipates around three lakh visitors, with seminars planned in 51 seminar halls.

An inauguration dome with a seating capacity of 4,000 industrialists is being finalized. The university has engaged 800 students as volunteers for tasks like registration, guidance, and guest services. Additionally, 22 international students from 52 countries will join the delegates at the conference.

The Registrar of Marwari University expressed enthusiasm for the exposure the region is receiving through the event. Plans include signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a Rs 1,000 crore investment in the education sector over the next three years. The university aims to introduce 12 new programs, construct academic buildings and hostels, and develop a sports complex.
