Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan visited Gaya for a two-day orientation and training program for Members of the Bihar Legislative Assembly. The event was organized in light of the formation of the 18th Bihar Legislative Assembly.
Upon his arrival, the Vice President received a warm welcome from notable figures such as Bihar Governor Syed Ata Hasnain, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Bihar Legislative Assembly Speaker Dr. Prem Kumar, and other senior leaders.
The training camp, scheduled for July 11 and 12, is taking place at the BIPARD campus in Gaya. The program aims to familiarize both new and returning legislators with parliamentary conventions, legislative practices, Assembly rules, responsibilities, and effective participation in House proceedings.
All members of the Bihar Legislative Assembly are expected to participate in the program, which seeks to enhance legislators’ understanding of parliamentary processes and strengthen the Assembly’s functioning. Elaborate arrangements have been made by the district administration to ensure the smooth conduct of the event.
Security measures, traffic management plans, law and order arrangements, and a temporary police station near the BIPARD campus have been put in place to respond promptly to any emergencies. Gaya City DSP Dharmendra Bharti inspected the venue ahead of the program to review security deployment, VIP movement, venue management, and coordination among government departments.
