Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan visited the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirumala, near Tirupati. He received a warm welcome from Andhra Pradesh Endowments Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy and other officials. The temple priests performed a traditional welcome ceremony for him, known as ‘Istikaphal’.
Subsequently, Vice President Radhakrishnan paid his respects at the temple flagpole and various shrines within the temple complex. He also received Vedic blessings at the Ranganayakula Mandapam. The TTD Chairman and Executive Officer presented him with a portrait of the deity and sacred offerings.
During his visit, the Vice President also prayed at the shrine of Bedi Anjaneya Swamy. He expressed prayers for peace, prosperity, and the well-being of all, as mentioned on his official social media account. This marks his second visit to the Tirumala temple since assuming office.
Vice President Radhakrishnan had previously visited Andhra Pradesh in 2025, participating in cultural and spiritual events in Vijayawada and Tirumala. During that visit, he inaugurated the Pilgrim Amenities Centre ‘Venkatadri Nilayam’ at TTD, in the presence of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
