The Vice-President of India, C.P. Radhakrishnan, spoke at the 35th convocation ceremony of the University of Rajasthan in Jaipur, urging youth to take on the roles of job creators and nation-builders. He highlighted the significance of education in societal progress and emphasized the importance of innovation, ethical conduct, and societal betterment through education. Referring to the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat, he motivated students to focus on innovation and creating employment opportunities.

Congratulating the graduating students, the Vice-President noted that a convocation signifies both an end and a new beginning, encouraging them to leverage education for the advancement of society. He praised the efforts of the Rajasthan government in providing opportunities for the youth and highlighted the achievements of women graduates, underlining the importance of women’s empowerment and equal opportunities for all.

Addressing the challenges posed by a rapidly changing world, the Vice-President advised students to think critically, act ethically, and engage in lifelong learning. He stressed the significance of empathy, humility, and values in achieving excellence, urging graduates to contribute meaningfully to society, respect diversity, stay away from drugs, and use social media positively.

Present at the event were dignitaries including Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde, Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa, Rajya Sabha MP Radha Mohan Das Agrawal, and University Vice-Chancellor Alpana Kateja.
