On the 18th Civil Services Day, Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan will speak at an event in Delhi, emphasizing the government’s dedication to inclusive development and citizen-centric governance. The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions will host the event at Vigyan Bhawan, focusing on “Viksit Bharat: Citizen-Centric Governance and Development at the Last Mile.”
The inaugural session will feature Minister of State Jitendra Singh and Cabinet Secretary T.V. Somanathan addressing the audience. Following this, a panel discussion on the ‘Role and effectiveness of civil services – An external perspective’ will take place, involving key figures from government, industry, and policy institutions to discuss accountability, innovation, and service delivery in governance.
