Vice-President C.P. Radhakrishnan is scheduled to visit Tamil Nadu on Sunday for the foundation stone laying ceremony of the statue of V.O. Chidambaram Pillai at Vandiyur in Madurai. Additionally, he will visit the Thirukoshtiyur Sowmya Narayana Perumal Temple and Rani Velu Nachiyar Palace in Sivaganga during his trip.
On International Mother Language Day, the Vice-President released updated versions of the Constitution of India in Tamil and Gujarati, along with the eighth edition of the Legal Glossary (English–Hindi). He emphasized the importance of making the Constitution accessible to people in their own languages to enhance democratic participation and awareness.
During the National CSR Summit 2026 event in New Delhi, the Vice-President highlighted the progress India has made under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He noted India’s rise to the fourth largest economy globally and its trajectory towards becoming the third largest. The Vice-President stressed the need for collaboration among government, industry, and civil society for the nation’s development.
Describing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as integral to national progress, Vice-President Radhakrishnan emphasized its role in combining business with empathy and purposeful growth.
