Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan is set to visit Sikkim on Saturday for the Statehood Day Celebrations in Gangtok. This visit marks his first to Sikkim since taking office. Last month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Gangtok to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Sikkim’s statehood. During his visit, PM Modi launched various development projects totaling around Rs 4,000 crore and engaged in a football session with local youngsters.
