Opening the innings, Taide, along with Aman Mokhade, provided a solid start with an 80-run partnership, despite early challenges from the Saurashtra bowlers.
In the 31st over, Taide reached his century with 12 boundaries and two sixes, becoming the 16th batter to achieve a triple-figure score in the Vijay Hazare Trophy Final. His aggressive innings came to an end in the 36th over when he was dismissed for 128 runs by Ankur Pawar, including 15 fours and three sixes.
Throughout the tournament, Taide has been a key player for Vidarbha, delivering crucial performances like his 62 against Delhi in the quarter-final and scores of 80 and 65 against Assam and Baroda, respectively.
