Engaging in intense training, yoga, and challenging exercises, he paid homage to the traditions of these practices. Jammwal emphasized the values of strength, focus, and the warrior spirit that these disciplines imbue. Recently, he shared a video on Instagram showing him applying candle wax to his eyes as part of his rigorous and unconventional training routine.
Kalaripayattu, which originated in Kerala, stands as one of the world’s oldest surviving martial arts forms. It combines rigorous physical conditioning with spiritual principles and unique combat techniques. The art includes stances inspired by animals, fluid movements, and the use of traditional weapons like swords and sticks.
In his upcoming project, “Street Fighter,” Vidyut Jammwal is set to star alongside a cast that includes Noah Centineo, Andrew Koji, Callina Liang, Roman Reigns, David Dastmalchian, Cody Rhodes, Andrew Schulz, Eric André, Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson, and Jason Momoa. The teaser for this live-action film was unveiled at the 2025 Game Awards, where the cast introduced the first look. Directed by Kitao Sakurai, the action-packed film is scheduled to premiere in theaters on October 16, 2026.
