South star Vijay Devarakonda has revealed the initial glimpse of his upcoming film “RanaBaali” on his social media platform. The movie, set in 19th-century India, is a Pan-India project based on real historical events. Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna will lead the cast, with music by renowned composer Ajay-Atul.
In the movie’s teaser, the narrative sheds light on the British colonial rule’s brutality in India, showcasing the struggles faced by the people. Vijay Deverakonda portrays the character of Rana Baali with a fierce and impactful presence, while Rashmika Mandanna plays Jayamma. The film, slated for a global release on September 11, 2026, aims to bring to light the untold history and challenges faced during that era.
“RanaBaali” marks the third collaboration between Vijay Deverakonda and Mythri Movie Makers, following their successful ventures “Dear Comrade” and “Khushi.” The unveiling of the movie’s title and poster on Republic Day has generated excitement among fans, setting high expectations for this epic cinematic experience.
