Beloved couple Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are set to honor hardworking 9th and 10th-grade students from Achampet Mandal in Telangana, the birthplace of Vijay’s father. They had previously pledged to support the education of these students through the Deverakonda Foundation. The initiative includes covering students’ fees on time and providing essential study materials to ease the financial burden on parents.
After their recent wedding in Udaipur, Vijay and Rashmika announced their commitment to assisting students in 44 government schools in Thummanpeta. This support aims to prevent students from dropping out due to financial constraints. Additionally, the couple is gearing up to appear together in the upcoming period drama, ‘Ranabaali,’ marking their first on-screen collaboration as a married pair.
‘Ranabaali’ is inspired by undocumented events from the 1850s, shedding light on historical incidents misrepresented by the British. This film will be the third professional project for Vijay and Rashmika, following their appearances in “Geetha Govindam” and “Dear Comrade.”
