Woman Allegedly Beaten to Death by Husband in Mumbai Over Alcohol Dispute

A 29-year-old woman, Kavita Mahesh Wad, was reportedly beaten to death by her husband, Mahesh Narayan Wad, in Mumbai’s Wadala area following an argument about his alcohol consumption. The accused initially fled but was later apprehended by the authorities.
According to the police, the husband brutally assaulted his wife using kicks and punches, resulting in severe injuries. Despite being taken to KEM Hospital, Kavita succumbed to her wounds, with authorities suggesting a delay in medical care may have worsened her condition.
Post-mortem findings indicated that Kavita had endured significant physical abuse, evident from multiple bruises on her body, indicating prolonged violence.
