World Leaders Congratulate PM Modi on Longest-serving Tenure

Leaders from around the globe have extended their congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he achieved the milestone of becoming India’s longest-serving elected Prime Minister. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz commended PM Modi for this achievement and expressed eagerness to enhance ties between Germany and India. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney also congratulated PM Modi, emphasizing the partnership between Canada and India for mutual prosperity.

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis conveyed his best wishes to PM Modi and expressed interest in strengthening the strategic partnership between India and Greece. Former UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak described PM Modi’s tenure as a remarkable milestone in the world’s largest democracy, while former Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai wished PM Modi continued success in serving the Indian people.

Former Ireland PM Leo Varadkar praised PM Modi’s leadership, highlighting India’s progress under his tenure. US Senator John Cornyn lauded PM Modi’s transformative leadership and his role in strengthening India-US relations. UK MP Bob Blackman commended PM Modi for his contributions to Gujarat and India’s development, emphasizing the Prime Minister’s dedication to improving the lives of the people.

PM Modi, who has now served as India’s Prime Minister for 12 years, surpassed former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru’s record, marking 4,399 days in office as an elected Prime Minister.
