Yashbardhan Singh Chauhan has been appointed as the captain of the India men’s U-19 team for the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka. The tour includes three One-Day matches and two Multi-Day fixtures, starting next month. Lakshya Raichandani will be the vice-captain for the team, as announced by the BCCI.
The tour will commence with the white-ball leg on July 4 in Hambantota, where all three one-day matches will be held. Following the one-day series, the team will shift to red-ball cricket for two multi-day matches. The first multi-day game is scheduled in Galle from July 13 to 16, with the final match in Colombo from July 20 to 23.
For the One-Day squad, Rajat Baghel and Anvay Dravid will handle the wicketkeeping duties. In contrast, Manav Krishna and Aryan Sandesh Sakpal will take over the wicketkeeping responsibilities for the multi-day games.
India Men’s U19 One-Day squad includes players like Sagar Virk, Arjun Rajput, and Anmoljeet Singh, among others. The multi-day squad comprises players such as Patel Kush, Manal Chauhan, and Priyanshu Singh, among others.
