Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, campaigning in Assam, criticized the previous Congress government for allegedly aiding infiltration. Adityanath credited the BJP for expelling such elements and ensuring citizens’ rights. He urged support for BJP candidate Ritu Baran Sarma in Barchalla and emphasized the importance of voting on April 9.

Adityanath highlighted Assam’s cultural heritage and accused Congress of creating an identity crisis by allying with AIUDF. He praised the BJP-led governments for transforming Assam into a hub for chip manufacturing. Initiatives like the Maa Kamakhya Corridor and Srimanta Sankaradeva Corridor were mentioned as efforts to preserve Assam’s identity and promote its culture.

Under the double-engine government, Adityanath noted the successful implementation of various schemes benefiting the poor. He emphasized the government’s commitment to protecting Assam from infiltrators and ensuring inclusive development. Adityanath also lauded PM Modi’s attention to the Northeast, leading to improved connectivity and infrastructure development in the region.
